Why haven’t the questions in my letter been answered?

There can be a number of reasons why your sponsored child may not respond to questions in your letter:

• It may take a while for your sponsored child to gain confidence in writing.
  
  
• It may be because your letters have overlapped.
  
  
• It’s possible your sponsored child didn’t bring your letter to the district letter writing event.
  
  
• Ugandan culture sometimes doesn’t allow a child to ask questions, leading to a reticence in a child to share their feelings.
  
  
• You might like to draw attention to questions by underlining or highlighting them.
